The NEW Koto Lamp DPY (Pkg of 2) is a tungsten halogen specialty lamp set designed for stage, studio, film, and television lighting where consistent output and predictable color are critical. Each DPY lamp operates at 120V / 5,000W and delivers 140,000 lumens at a 3200K color temperature, making it well-suited for high-intensity fixtures that require a stable, warm studio-standard look.

Performance and Light Quality

Koto Electric is considered to be the pioneer of high-quality tungsten halogen specialty lamps for stage, studio and film. Tungsten halogen bulbs utilize the "Halogen Cycle" to prevent lamp blackening and to extend the service life of the bulb.

Koto Tungsten Halogen lamps provide virtually constant color temperature and light output throughout their life, making lamp replacement without any change in color or light quality possible. Their compact, double-coiled filament design also supports precise optical control when used in fixtures that rely on accurate beam shaping.

Specifications and Fit

The DPY is a single-end lamp with G38 prongs and measures 270mm x 65mm for compatibility with fixtures built around this form factor and base type. Rated life is 400 hours.
