The Kino Flo Diva-Lite 201, Center Mount is a portable, all-in-one fluorescent lighting fixture built for the rigors of run and gun lighting in news, documentary, and commercial video production. Its slim profile and low heat output make it especially practical in small offices, hallways, and other tight locations where larger fixtures can be difficult to place.
Fast, controllable light for real-world locations
With a built-in dimming ballast and remote dimming capability, the Diva-Lite 201 is designed for quick on-set adjustments without breaking your setup. You can also use 2-lamp switching to step output up or down, and the fixture’s low amperage draw lets it plug into virtually any standard household outlet, which is ideal when you are working on location with limited power options.
True Match lamp performance and color options
The fixture uses Kino Flo True Match daylight and tungsten balanced lamps, with 55W compact lamp options in 5500K (Daylight) and 3200K (Tungsten). On location, lamps get to full color temperature in three minutes. Full spectrum (CRI 95) lamps are available in 3200K and 5500K, and the high color rendering True Match lamps are designed to work well alongside conventional quartz lights or HMI's. Kino Flo 55Watt compact lamps are also available in 550nm green and 420nm blue for green and blue screen.
Built-in light shaping and flexible mounting
The Diva-Lite 201 includes built-in barndoors and supports common modifiers and accessories, including a reflector, louver, and gel frame. Color gels do not burn out or fade due to the low heat of the fixture. The center mount supports rotation on horizontal and vertical axes for faster aiming and repositioning during interviews or moving coverage.
Workflow-friendly design and key specs
When finished, turn off power and pack. No need for cool down period, and the lamps can stay in the fixture for quick transport. The Universal version with auto-sensing power supply can use anywhere in the world.
