NEW AAdynTech JAB V2 Variable

The AAdynTech JAB V2 Variable is a high-output, variable color temperature LED fixture built for film, broadcast, and studio lighting where fast setup, accurate color, and reliable power options matter. It offers an adjustable color temperature range of 3,000°K to 6,000°K and develops an output of 2,100 fc @ 10 feet, making it a strong choice for key, fill, or punchy accent light with controllable beam shaping.

Variable CCT output with practical on-set control

Dial in tungsten-to-daylight color temperature without swapping gels, and fine-tune intensity with precise brightness control designed to maintain color consistency. An accurate color temperature readout on the UIM helps you match other fixtures quickly, while optical efficiency provides a single light source to help reduce the multiple-shadow artifacts common with multi-emitter designs.

Low draw, battery-capable power for location work

Most remarkable is the Variable draws only 1.78 amp of power at full output, and can be operated at 28.8v DC battery power in situations where conventional A/C supply is problematic or non-existent. The auto-ranging universal power supply supports 100/277 VAC, 50/60Hz, with no ballast, head cables, or spare lamps required.

Cool operation and durable, self-contained design

Like all AAdynTech fixtures, the Variable generates no heat or harmful UV or IR emissions and is self-contained, with instant ON to eliminate warm-up time on set. It operates cool to the touch and is rated for an operating temperature range of -20c to +50c. A heavy-duty yoke is provided for secure mounting and positioning.

Beam shaping, effects, and DMX integration

Included lenses (5, 15, 30, and 55 degrees) let you vary beam angle for tighter throw or wider coverage. For rigged setups and console control, the fixture provides full DMX control with DMX loop-thru via 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out, plus programmable multiple lightning and strobe effects and multiple user memory storage with recall. A douse button (momentary off) supports quick on-set blackout cues, and a recalibration countdown hour ‘smart’ meter helps track maintenance intervals.

Designed for energy-conscious workflows, the fixture is rated for up to 90% energy savings and is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE and RoHS compliant.
