Description
The Chroma-Q Color Force II 12 is a high-output LED batten designed for cyclorama, flood, and wall-washing applications where a powerful throw and smooth, even coverage are required. With four powerful homogenised cells per foot (305mm), you can group units and control them together for consistent looks across long runs, while the innovative optical system eliminates unsightly colour shadowing and delivers superior colour blending. The fixture provides power enough to light nearly 12m of cyclorama.
Output, Blending, and Optics for Smooth Coverage
The Color Force II uses fully homogenised optics with an asymmetrical beam distribution to help spread light evenly across cyc and wall surfaces. Its approx. 22° beam angle supports punchy throws while maintaining smooth blending, making it well-suited to theatre cycloramas, scenic washes, and architectural-style wall wash looks.
Color Control and Effects
Multiple control modes support different programming workflows, including RGBA, RGB, HSI, Look Sel, Master, x4, x2, x1, and Odd/Even grouping options for flexible pixel-style and segmented control. A theatrical dimming curve helps fades read naturally on stage, and the variable effects engine provides strobe, strobe on top, and random strobe when you need dynamic accents.
Practical Power, Data, and Touring-Friendly Design
Power and data connections are built for professional setups, with Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 in/out and Neutrik 5-pin XLR in/out, using ANSI E1.11 USITT DMX 512-A control. The unit is rated for 100-240V AC, 50-60 Hz (160VA), uses forced cooling, and is specified for 0°C to 40°C operation. The anodized aluminium extrusion housing and quick-release lever for tilt adjustment support efficient focus and re-aiming during load-ins.
