With RDM support and network protocol compatibility including Art-Net and sACN, the RDM6D fits naturally into modern lighting control workflows where remote device management, flexible routing, and reliable signal distribution matter. Factory and user presets help speed deployment for repeatable setups, while advanced routing and merging options support more complex systems.

Power and Control Options for Live or Installed Systems

The unit can be powered by line voltage or PoE (802.3af), helping reduce power cabling where PoE network infrastructure is available. A 1.8” OLED display with rotary knob provides local status and configuration access, while remote configuration is available through the internal webpage. Contact closures allow cue or preset recall, supporting show control and integration into installed control systems.

Operational Tools and Software Ecosystem

The Netron platform includes 99 internal cues with fade and delay time, and supports NETRON CLU for remote configuration and firmware updates. It also unlocks the ONYX NOVA 4 Universe License, making it a strong fit for users standardizing on the ONYX and Netron ecosystem.
