It builds on the familiar Impression S350 form factor while updating the optics, software, and all connections and controls to current technology, making it easy to integrate into modern rigs where space, consistency, and reliability matter.

The Impression S500 Wash HC combines proven light quality (CRI and TLCI over 90), natural colour rendering, and homogeneous illumination with an intelligent feature set and low-noise operation. Its white LED engine delivers 26,000 lm at native 6,000 K for a balanced spectrum suited to realistic skin tones, with a total lumen output of 14,800 lm. The fixture output is rated up to 13,100 lm, and it supports selectable LED refresh rates (Low, Optimal (Default), High 1, High 2, Max) to help match different camera and production requirements.

Wide, Even Coverage with Precision Control

A 185 mm fresnel lens provides smooth, homogeneous coverage across a broad zoom range, from a 6.9° beam to a 40° field angle. The unit also specifies a zoom range of 7° to 65° (1:6 ratio) plus 16-bit focus with an optional focus tracking mode, helping keep edges and textures consistent through zoom moves.

Color, Framing, and Effects for Versatile Programming

For color and tone shaping, the fixture includes CMY color mixing (0 to 100%, 8-bit) and a CTC (Color Temperature Control) range of 2,500 K to 8,000 K using the CMY system. A color wheel provides 10 fixed colors plus open, along with additional fixed color filters and spectral filters for correction and creative looks.
