Daylight HMI Output for Stage and Location Work

The TMB PowerPAR HMI 575W is built for applications that need high punch and a daylight look, such as stage washes, high-output key or fill, and matching daylight-balanced sources in mixed-light environments. Depending on the lamp installed, it delivers a daylight color temperature of 7200 K (MSR575/2 or HSR575/2) or 6000 K (MSD575 or HSD575), helping you stay closer to natural-light color rendering without relying on heavy correction.

Optics and Beam Control

The optical system uses a parabolic reflector with a faceted surface, paired with interchangeable beam shaping lenses. This makes it practical for tailoring the beam for different throw distances and coverage needs while keeping the familiar PAR-style workflow.

Power, Cooling, and Rigging Details

An electronic switch-mode ballast with autosensing 90-265V AC input (47-65 Hz) supports touring and venue power variations, with a 0.99 auto-correcting power factor and 690 VA power consumption (3A @ 230V). The fixture combines convection cooling at the lamphouse with fan cooling for the ballast. It is rated IP20, supports unrestricted operating angles, and includes a 12.5 mm hole on top of the yoke for clamp mounting. Maximum surface temperature is 170 C and maximum ambient temperature is 35 C, with a matte black finish suited to stage environments.

Lamp Type Compatibility

The light source is a 575W single ended metal halide lamp with a GX9,5 base and LCL=65mm. Applicable lamps include MSR575/2, HSR575/2, MSD575 and HSD575.
