Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS is a compact RGBW LED moving head wash designed for mobile DJs, venues, and event production, delivering saturated color with smooth motion for both short-throw and long-throw applications. With its motorized zoom, ILS compatibility, and built-in D-Fi transceiver, Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS seamlessly shifts from narrow beams to wide washes, instantly coordinates with different ILS fixture types, and offers the convenience of wireless DMX or ILS control.

Zoom, output, and on-stage flexibility

The motorized zoom adjusts from 5° to 27°, so you can tighten up for punchy aerial looks or open up for broader stage coverage. The light engine uses 7 quad-color (RGBW) 20 W LEDs for rich mixing and smooth color, with a strobe rate from 0 to 20 Hz. For practical brightness reference, illuminance is rated at 30,537 lux @ 2 m (5°) and 3,390 lux @ 2 m (27°).

Wireless control, ILS coordination, and onboard setup

The built-in D-Fi transceiver communicates DMX or ILS signals wirelessly, helping reduce cabling on quick setups and clean installs. Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS supports 9 or 14 DMX channels via 3-pin XLR, and navigation is straightforward with direct access to functions on the full-color LCD display.

Movement options and dance-floor-focused mode

Pan and tilt are rated at 540°/225°, with selectable ranges (180°, 360°, 540° pan and 90°, 180°, 225° tilt) to match tight spaces or wide sweeps. Totem Mode keeps the moving head focused on the dance floor for energetic looks without overshooting the room.

Power, linking, and compliance

Auto-ranging power (100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz) supports touring and installed use. Save time running cables and extension cords by power linking multiple units (up to 6 units @ 120 V or 12 units @ 230 V). Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS is CE, RoHS, and FCC compliant.
