Mini Xtylos HPE (CJ3002) is a small form factor moving light from Claypaky, built around an innovative, proprietary RGB laser source rated for 20,000 hours. It delivers saturated, deep colors without visible hotspots using the exclusive Turbo Colour system, making it a strong fit for tight beam looks, accents, and precise aerial effects in touring, broadcast, and installed rigs.
Optics and color performance
The high-efficiency optical system delivers a tight 1° to 4° zoom through a 60 mm front lens, with a measured 470 lumen output (Integrating Sphere). RGB additive mixing is paired with a linear virtual CTO (3000K to 9000K) for dialing in everything from warm tints to cooler looks without swapping media.
Movement and control integration
For dynamic programming, Mini Xtylos HPE offers endless 16-bit pan and 265° 16-bit tilt, plus automatic repositioning and selectable fast/normal movement via the function channel. It supports DMX, Art-Net, RDM, and sACN, with locking 5-pin XLR in/out for DMX/RDM and an RJ45 Ethernet input for networked control. A built-in web server enables setup and firmware management over the network, and it supports firmware upload from another fixture, diagnostics, DMX monitoring, and remote access through RDM. CloudIO compatibility is also supported.
Power, noise, and on-fixture tools
Power is handled via PowerCon True1 in/out for daisy-chaining, and the fixture includes a graphic LCD backlit black-and-white display for straightforward menu navigation. In standard mode (dimmer at 100%), noise is specified at 45.0 dBA. A long-life self-charging battery helps maintain settings and supports service workflows.
Laser variance support
Claypaky’s Laser Variance Program, a dedicated online tool, enables effortless navigation through the entire variance acquisition process, guiding every step of the way and supporting in passing quick online tests after a short online training. On top of that, Claypaky supports filling out the FDA form and submitting it to the FDA office. Obtaining global compliance has never been more straightforward
