Typhon IP BSW 400 delivers a 400W white LED engine paired with a 3 to 38 degree motorized zoom that shifts from tight beam to wide wash, making it a flexible choice for outdoor stages, touring rigs, and permanent architectural installs. Designers gain CMY color mixing, an 8 color plus open wheel, and CTO control to quickly match warmer sources or camera-friendly looks.

Beam shaping, texture, and effects

Two gobo systems support both crisp aerial looks and detailed projection. The rotating wheel provides 7 gobos plus open for animated texture, while the static wheel adds 10 gobos plus 2 beam reducers plus open for tighter, more defined output. Motorized focus helps keep edges sharp across throw distances, and an integrated frost effect lets you soften the beam when transitioning into a wash.

For mid-air impact, dual rotating prisms (3-facet and 4-facet) multiply beams and patterns, and a fast 0 to 30 Hz strobe offers pulse and random effects for rhythmic hits and accents.

Movement, control, and integration

With 540 degree pan and 270 degree tilt, plus 8 or 16 bit resolution, the fixture supports smooth sweeps and precise positioning. Control is via DMX512 with RDM support, including a 23 channel mode for detailed programming. Onboard setup is handled through the TFT LCD interface with touch buttons.

Built for outdoor reliability

The IP66 housing is designed to stand up to weather and environmental dust, and the unit is temperature rated for up to 104°F (40°C) ambient. PowerCON TRUE1 compatible in/out simplifies power linking in professional systems
