The NEW Blizzard StormChaser Supercell Pro is the next evolution of Blizzard’s popular Supercell fixture, reimagined for today’s production demands. With 384 high-performance 5-in-1 SMD LEDs (RGB plus cool and warm white) and an electronically controlled frost/clear smart lens, it’s designed to cover stages, cyc walls, and uplighting with anything from smooth, wide washes to tighter, more defined looks from the same bar.

Color, Output, and Beam Control

The StormChaser Supercell Pro uses 384 x 0.5 W 5050 SMD LEDs for saturated color and balanced whites, with built-in color macros and a virtual color wheel for fast matching and repeatable looks. The smart lens toggles between clear and frost for quick on-the-fly beam shaping, delivering a 104° beam in clear mode and a 110° spread with frost for softer blending across surfaces and performers.

DMX/RDM Control and Pixel Mapping Flexibility

For professional control workflows, the fixture supports DMX and RDM for streamlined addressing and remote configuration. Advanced pixel grouping lets you choose from multiple DMX pixel group configurations (1 to 16 zones), making it practical for anything from simple single-channel wash control to segmented effects across the bar. It offers a wide range of channel modes (6/7/12/17/27/47/49/81/87-channel) to fit different consoles and programming styles.

Camera-Ready Performance and Calibration

Adjustable LED refresh rates (4000 Hz to 32 kHz) help reduce flicker on camera, while customizable dimming curves and color calibration support consistent fades and more accurate color reproduction across rigs.

Rigging, Power, and Standalone Operation

The interlocking metal housing and dual locking brackets support secure hanging or linking, and the included tripod stand enables a quick free-standing setup when you need ground rows or portable deployment. PowerCON TRUE1-compatible input/output simplifies power runs, and a +5V USB output is available for powering wireless accessories. The fixture also supports Master/Slave, Auto, and Sound Active operation modes for setups without a console.
