The Altman 3 Section Sky Cyc is a lightweight, wide spread luminaire designed to provide an even wash of light on cycloramas. Built for theatrical and studio environments, the SKY-CYC offers a compact way to light large cycs from above while maintaining broad coverage and consistent output.

Performance for Smooth, Even Cyc Coverage

Designed around wide spacing and efficient optical control, the four light sky cyc, when mounted 8 feet from the cyc, 12 feet on center will typically provide better than 1.3 to 1 uniformity between luminaires with a minimum of 176 footcandles at the bottom of a 20' cyc. This helps reduce hot spots and visible seams between fixtures, making it easier to achieve an even-looking background for stage or camera.

Die-cast and sheet steel construction supports frequent handling and venue-to-venue setups. Multiple mounting configurations help integrate the fixture into common overhead lighting positions, and the high efficiency reflector is engineered to deliver broad, even distribution across the cyc.
