Built for small to medium live sound and installed audio, the Yamaha LS9-32 delivers a compact, one-person-manageable digital console workflow while providing the routing, processing, and recall you need for repeatable shows. The LS9 series consists of the 32-mic/line input 64-channel LS9-32, and the 16-mic/line input 32 channel LS9-16. While being compact and light enough for one person to move and set up easily, both models include features that have been field-proven in previous Yamaha digital consoles as well as outstanding sonic quality.

Mixing Capacity and Routing for Real-World Shows

The LS9-32 provides 32 mono mic/line input channels plus 4 stereo input channels, and can be expanded up to 64 channels across two layers. For monitor and zone feeds, you get 16 mix buses and 8 matrix buses, plus stereo and mono buses with LCR mode, making it well-suited for venues that need flexible routing to wedges, in-ears, fills, or distributed speaker zones.

Channel Processing and Effects

In addition to an extensive range of gating, compression, and equalization capabilities, the LS9 platform is designed to keep common mix tasks fast and consistent. Yamaha’s Selected Channel interface combines a color LCD display with logically arranged encoders so you can quickly access detailed channel functions without diving through complicated menus. A Virtual Rack provides effects and EQ for processing needs typically handled by outboard gear.

Recording, Playback, and Scene Recall

There's also a built-in USB memory recorder/player for recording or BGM playback, and other functionality that give you everything you need for small to medium scale live sound or installed applications in remarkably compact, all-in-one consoles. Scene memory allows instant store and recall of console parameters, including head amp gain, which is helpful for multi-band nights, recurring services, or repeatable corporate events. Advanced access management supports user keys (standard USB memory devices) with different access levels for different users.
