The Rasha K2 FX is a compact moving-head hybrid that combines a high-output wash fixture with built-in pixel FX, making it a practical choice for touring, broadcast, events, clubs, and rental inventories that need versatile looks without adding complexity. It pairs a bright main LED engine with an illuminated Aura FX panel, so you can move from tight, punchy beams to wide washes, subtle background glow, and dynamic pixel-mapped visuals from a single unit.

Wash output plus Aura pixel effects

The main light source uses (19) OSRAM 40W RGBW LEDs (50,000-hour life expectancy) for saturated color mixing and clean whites, with virtual color temperature presets from 2,000K to 10,000K (7200K at full). A motorized 11:1 zoom spans 5.5° to 55°, delivering 42,400 lux at 5 m in narrow zoom for strong aerial presence, and 1,120 lux at 5 m in wide zoom for broad coverage.

For visual layers beyond the beam, the Aura FX panel adds (210) 0.2W RGB LEDs (50,000-hour life expectancy) that can be used for glow, chase effects, or pixel-based graphics. Both the main LEDs (19) and Aura panel (210) are pixel mappable, with built-in chase macros (32 for main, 126 for Aura) and variable speeds for quick looks when you do not want to program from scratch.

Camera-ready performance and smooth motion

Designed for live and on-camera use, the K2 FX provides flicker-free output with selectable PWM (1200 Hz, 2400 Hz, 16,000 Hz, 25,000 Hz) and smooth 16-bit dimming with four dimmer curves. Motion is tuned for dynamic cues and fast repositioning, with 540°/270° pan/tilt (electronic correction) and infinite rotation at variable speeds, plus 16-bit pan/tilt resolution for precise focus and repeatable moves. Electronic shutter and strobe range from 1 to 25 Hz.

Control, setup, and integration

Networked control options help speed setup and addressing in modern rigs. The fixture supports DMX via 5-pin XLR input/output and Ethernet via locking RJ45 input/output, and it uses a full-color, 180° reversible LCD with a 5-button interface and NFC-enabled menu system for fast local configuration. Built-in programs include two auto-run programs (adjustable speed) and one sound program, and DMX color macros (9) plus a dedicated background spectrum channel (red to violet) simplify quick color workflows.

Built for real-world production environments

Engineered and tested in-house, every fixture is calibrated before it ships to help keep color and performance consistent across a full rig. The housing is high-impact, flame-retardant thermoplastic in satin black, rated IP20, and designed for flexible installation in any orientation. Cooling is handled by active, temperature-controlled fans with Auto/High/Low modes, with a rated noise level of 50 dB(A) at 1 m.

Power and rigging are straightforward for touring and rental use, with Powercon input/output, two 1/4-turn Omega bracket rigging points, and a dedicated safety cable point on the bottom center of the base. The fixture runs on 110 to 240 VAC (auto-ranging) and draws 788 W (6.7 A at 120 V, 60 Hz; 3.7 A at 208 V, 60 Hz). Operating temperature range is 14°F to 113°F (-10°C to 45°C).
