The Martin RUSH MH 3 Beam is a moving head beam light built for high-impact mid-air looks, tight aerial effects, and long-throw beam projection in concerts, clubs, and event production. With a narrow beam, fast movement, and a wide range of color and gobo options, this package is well-suited for rigs that need sharp, defined beams and repeatable effects night after night.
Beam Performance and Effects
The RUSH MH 3 Beam is a powerful beam moving head that blasts an intense and narrow long-throw beam for spectacular mid-air looks and effects. Creative tools include a color wheel with 14 colors plus open (variable direction and speed rotation), a static gobo wheel with 17 gobos plus open (rotation and shake), and an 8-facet prism with indexing and variable-speed rotation for multiplying beams and building bigger aerial looks.
Control, Movement, and On-Stage Flexibility
For cueing and programming, the fixture offers 0 to 100% mechanical dimming (four dimming curve options), shutter-based strobe and pulse effects, and 31 pre-programmed pan and tilt macros with adjustable speed. A motorized focus and motorized zoom help you dial in looks across different trim heights and throw distances, while the frost effect can soften the beam when you want less edge definition.
DMX Connectivity and Lamp Specs
Designed for common lighting control workflows, the RUSH MH 3 Beam supports 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connections. It uses the approved lamp Philips MSD Platinum 5R, with a listed 8000 K color temperature, CRI 75, and average lamp lifetime of 2000 hours.
