The MAC III Profile offers a perfect balance between a superior feature list and ultimate performance for professional stage, touring, and event lighting. This high-output profile combines advanced 1500 watt lamp technology with superb optical efficiency, an innovative design and great feel to take moving head performance to a higher level.
Optics, Color, and Beam Control
Built for precise shuttering and repeatable looks, the MAC III Profile pairs a 1:5 zoom with focus tracking to help keep patterns sharp as you change beam size. CMY color mixing is supported by variable CTO for dialing in warmer tones, plus a 7-position color wheel (with open) for quick, consistent color selection. For additional beam shaping, it includes a motorized iris and interchangeable 4-facet rotating and indexable prism.
Gobos and Effects for Texture and Movement
Two 5-position indexable rotating gobo wheels (plus open) provide flexible breakup and projection options, while the dedicated gobo animation wheel adds controllable motion (movement and direction control) for dynamic mid-air and surface effects. Mechanical and electronic strobe effects (2 to 10 Hz) support pulse effects and instant open/blackout for timing-critical cues.
Movement, Dimming, and Show Integration
Pan and tilt (540/267) with absolute positioning control supports accurate focusing and reliable programming. Dimming is completely uniform, and a mechanical shutter enables total blackout when required. The electronic ballast supports fast lamp re-strike and flicker-free light, which is especially useful for broadcast and camera work.
Road-Ready Design and Control Connectivity
For quiet environments, the fixture uses patented very low-noise cooling. A modular design helps simplify maintenance and servicing, and it is designed for easy conversion between a profile and performance configuration, so you can adapt your inventory without investing in separate fixtures. It is RDM ready, includes service USB, and is Art-Net II prepared. Onboard, a battery-powered TFT display with jog wheel navigation helps speed up setup, addressing, and troubleshooting.
